Singapore is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination, which means more and more people are looking to make use of the various bus routes that run throughout the city and the surrounding areas.
Perhaps the most useful of these for tourists are the ones that travel to KLIA/KLIA2 from Singapore by bus. After all, we all need to get back home once our holidays are over so having a reliable and high quality bus or coach service to get us back to the airport is always a good thing and it generally costs less than a taxi would as well.
Services to the terminals are operated exclusively by Golden Coach, who six sets of services per day with one going to KLIA1 and the other going to KLIA2. These services depart from either the city Plaza of Key Point, depending on which one you choose to use, so be sure to check which is closest to your current destination to make the trip as easy as possible for you.
The service is a direct line to the terminals and will cost you S$36.00 regardless of which one you take. A wise idea is to book a ticket online a couple of days before you have to travel back to ensure you have your spot on the coach reserved. Nobody wants to deal with the frustration of not being able to get the airport on time to catch their plane.
With this in mind it is also important to catch the right service that will get you to the airport on time. Coaches to both terminals run at 8:30am, 9:00am, 12:45pm, 13:15pm and there is a red-eye service that leaves at 23:59pm for those who have either a really late or very early flight that they need to catch. As always, be mindful of your departure destination too.
